Opportunities

Current Openings: Advertising Sales Associate

Responsibilities Include:

Sell and process print and online classified and display advertising space for client publication.  Develop and maintain relationships with existing account base and explain value of increasing advertising budget.  Generate new revenue streams by reactivation of dark accounts and prospect new accounts through lead generation and cold calling.  Achieve or exceed monthly sales objectives including revenue goals and activation of new and dark accounts.

Education, Experience and Competencies

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Demonstrated sales performance with a minimum of 2 years outbound/outside sales experience or media sales background is desired
• Ability to balance competing priorities and work under strict deadlines
• Well developed time management, organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
• Intermediate Level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with internet research tools

Necessary Skills:

• Strong verbal and writing skills, with proven ability to communicate complex ideas
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and abide by rules and procedures for publications and Sales Center alike
• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints
• Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to the team Manager and customers

Current Openings: Customer Sales Advisors

Responsibilities Include:

Professionally managing inbound classified advertising calls. Creating and entering accurate and effective classified ads in our automated system. Providing exceptional, friendly and professional customer service and a positive sales experience for every caller. Generating results for our clients' customers.

Necessary Skills:

• Full-time and part-time, day and evening shifts available
• Weekend availability a plus
• High school diploma or GED, college preferred
• Demonstrated sales ability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong grammar, spelling, and keyboard skills
• A professional, enthusiastic attitude
• A strong work ethic and team spirit
• Bilingual English and Spanish language skills are a plus
